Eighteen years later and I'm happy to report I didn't take their advice, instead I made it my mission to prove them wrong and find a like-minded organisation who embraced my nonconformist beliefs and rewarded hard work. My goal, to become a Creative Director of Bartle Bogle Hegarty, before turning thirty.
In 2009 at twenty nine, I was made Creative Director and Business Partner of Bartle Bogle Hegarty.
The past six years as Creative Director and the last two as Executive Creative Director have been a fantastic journey. I've had the opportunity to build an award winning creative department, delivering truly media neutral consumer focused communications that not only change peoples approach to brands, but also their actions.
